If you're a fan of the religious and cultural history of the Middle Ages, you'll love this app. It provides a comprehensive virtual tour of the Colm Cille Museum, a library, and some of the key sites in the region, such as the Book of Kells, Iona, Clava Cairns, the Cross of Colm Cille, and the Iona Abbey. You'll also find a number of articles, videos, and podcasts on the museum and its history.
The Colm Cille Museum, founded in 1996, is the largest museum of its kind in Europe. It is located in a building on the ruins of an ancient kirk, or church. This building was once part of a monastery, and is one of the best examples of medieval architecture in Ireland. The museum is dedicated to the study of Colm Cille, the founder of the monastery, and his work. The museum is home to a collection of over 700 objects, most of which are from the monastery of Iona.
